Madlen Kappeler
Born: December 5, 1997
Place of residence: Vorderhindelang, Oberallgäu
I compete in the elite middle-distance triathlon field and have found my second sporting passion in trail running. My big goal for 2026 is to further push my performance limits and make the leap into professional sport.
What sets me apart? Willpower, determination, and the ability to never give up. Challenges motivate me—they push me to exceed my own expectations every day.
As an athlete, I stand for endurance, discipline, and passion. I love sports – but I also know how important recovery, nutrition, and sleep are for long-term performance. Because only those who take care of themselves can give their all in the decisive moment.
Growing up in the Upper Allgäu region, I was constantly outdoors as a child—mountain biking, cross-country skiing, or participating in children's races. The joy of exercise was always there, but my sporting ambition only developed after graduating from high school. Inspired by my mother's words:
“Madlen, you have talent – make something of it.” I began to train purposefully – and found my calling in triathlon.
